Bicka Barlow received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in Genetics. She pursued her scientific and academic interests and obtained a Master of Science degree from Cornell University in the fields of Genetics and Developmental Biology, with minors in Plant Molecular Biology and Cellular Biology. She became a lawyer and has spent the last 25 years combining science and the law, specializing in criminal trials involving DNA evidence. She works on cases all over the U.S. at both the trial and post-conviction levels.
