How to be an Ambassador for your Presentation
Raise your profile and make the most of your upcoming program by sharing it on social media!
Your engagement online directly impacts attendance and overall attendee satisfaction. By actively posting about your program, you demonstrate your expertise on the topic, help others learn from you, and connect to Wisconsin’s greater legal community.
Get started today. Follow these steps:
- Follow the State Bar of Wisconsin on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, or whatever social media platforms you use.
- Click “Going” on our Facebook event page:
https://fb.me/e/4yHEaTfaF
- Tag the State Bar in your posts. Use @statebarofwi (We want to share your posts!)
- Use the conference hashtag #sbwamc (This helps others find your posts.)
- Post about your program at least twice per month. Topic ideas:
- What is the #1 thing you want attendees to take away from your program?
- Share a FAQ (and the answer).
- Show us why you are passionate about your topic. (It’s okay to get a little personal here.)
- Share a resource – articles, infographics, etc.
- Post a teaser for your program – slides, photos, etc.
- Ask attendees what they want you to cover in your session.
- What is one thing you hope to take away from AMC?
- Share something personal (and connect it to your topic). Could be a hobby, activity, etc.
- Invite attendees to reach out to you before/after your program.
- Include photos or video in your posts – people want to see you and images related to your topic. We prefer to see unique images (selfies, behind-the-scenes, sneak peeks, etc.). You can also find images and logos for the event
here.
- Invite your personal network to attend the event (and check out your program). Ask them to register at
www.wisbar.org/amc.
- Send the State Bar your preferred social media profiles. We want to tag you in posts and direct attendees to your profile to help elevate your professional network. Questions? Reach out to the State Bar’s social media manager, Peter Kraemer,
