Professor Koehler has a doctorate in Behavioral Sciences (Committee on Research Methodology and Quantitative Psychology) from the University of Chicago. Prior to joining Northwestern University as a law professor in 2010, he was a professor at Arizona State University (business and law schools, 2007-2009) and a University Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of Texas at Austin (business school, 1990-2007). He currently teaches evidence, statistics, and forensic science. His research interests include judgment and decision making, quantitative reasoning in the courtroom, and forensic science.
