Dec. 18, 2019 – People give for a variety of reasons – the desire to help others, personal experience with a program or organization, because it just makes us feel good – but everyone wants their gift to make an impact.
Donating to the Wisconsin Law Foundation ensures your gift will make a difference.
As the charitable arm of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Law Foundation promotes public understanding of the law, and supports creative programs that have a long-lasting, positive impact on Wisconsin youth and adults.
Your support will empower us in 2020 to:
-
help Spanish-speaking litigants navigate the family court system;
-
provide scholarships to help new attorneys reduce law school debt and enable them to establish practices in underserved areas;
-
support special teen court programs that use positive peer pressure to reduce teenage crimes and help keep adolescents from re-entering the juvenile justice system; and
-
bringing the law to life for 1,400+ high school students through the Wisconsin High School Mock Trial program.
These are just a few of the programs that are able to grow and flourish due to the generous support of Wisconsin Law Foundation donors. As 2019 comes to close, would you take a moment and consider supporting the Foundation in your end-of-year giving?
No contribution amount is too small. Through grants, awards, and scholarships, the Foundation uses every single dollar to transform the lives of Wisconsin residents and support critical public education projects and public service projects. “Thank you again for considering the Wisconsin Law Foundation in your charitable giving. Together, we can keep the Foundation going strong for the next generation,” says Kevin Lonergan, Foundation president.
