New agricultural section proposed
A group of attorneys proposes creating
an Agricultural/Agribusiness Law Section to assist Wisconsin attorneys
involved in legal issues related to farming and farm
families.
"An Agricultural/Agribusiness
Law Section has the potential of serving members who have a special
interest
in the aspects of the law affecting farmers and the businesses that
serve
agriculture," says State Bar President George Burnett. "Agriculture
presents
unique legal problems that regularly face banking, corporate, taxation,
environment, bankruptcy, litigation, and intellectual property
lawyers."
