Wanted: Ethics consultant
Due to the anticipated retirement of Keith Kaap, the State Bar is in
search of an attorney to serve as ethics consultant.
The ethics consultant provides guidance to State Bar members on
issues of professional conduct and provides related advice to Bar
leadership and staff. The ethics consultant staffs the Ethics Hotline
and the Professional Ethics Committee; works in conjunction with others
to develop and present ethics continuing legal education programming;
follows the activities of the Office of Lawyer Regulation; and advises
law-related groups on matters of legal ethics and professional
conduct.
Applicants with a minimum of five years practice experience who are
licensed to practice in Wisconsin can send resume, salary requirements,
