The Wisconsin Law Foundation (WLF) is soliciting
applications, by April 1, for grants up to $2,000 for 2005 - 06.
Requests must involve charitable or educational programs that promote
public understanding of the law, the improvement of administration of
justice, or another law-related public service.
"WLF's mission is to make a difference through law-related programs
that educate and serve the public," says Lynne Solomon, Grants Committee
chair. "We have increased our membership and are hopeful we will be able
to support more programs this year."
The WLF, the charitable arm of the State Bar, is a fully chartered
501(c)3 organization, and supports projects such as the Mock Trial
Tournament, We the People Teacher Institute, and peer and teen court
