WisBar InsideTrack earned the top Luminary Award in the category of Excellence in Electronic Publications from the National Association of Bar Executives (NABE) Communications Section last month.
The award recognizes an electronic publication that exemplifies excellence in writing, editing, and design in meeting the needs of the publication’s targeted legal audience. The publication was developed in collaboration with the Communications Committee.
“The NABE Luminary Award judges commended WisBar InsideTrack for its crisp graphics, photos, and clever content that draws in readers,” says Communications Committee chair Amy Dixon. “But what really impressed the judges was the thinking, research, and time that went into the delivery of this project. The overall publication is a well-designed, well-rounded newsletter that has drawn good response from members and savings for the association.”
The State Bar introduced this e-newsletter in February. InsideTrack, published twice a month on the first and third Wednesdays, distills developments affecting the practice of law and the profession. From practice management tips to timely insight into legislative, court, and other legal developments, as well as the latest State Bar products and services, InsideTrack is designed to improve State Bar members’ practices.
The National Association of Bar Executives’ mission is to “unite and inspire bar executives in promotion of excellence in bar association management.” The Luminary Awards program, sponsored by the Communications Section, recognizes excellence in bar association publications, Web sites, and public relations efforts.
