Volunteer Lawyers Recognition Celebration
Attorneys, law firms, law-related organizations, and law
students who made outstanding pro bono public service, or law-related
education contributions in 2008 were honored at the Volunteer Lawyers
Recognition Celebration.
“The Wisconsin lawyers who devote their time and talent as
volunteers to the State Bar of Wisconsin help make our Bar association
one of the best in the nation,” says State Bar President Diane
Diel. “I congratulate each and every one of the volunteers honored
with these awards. You have worked hard to advance the profession, to
advance the causes of justice and to help provide access to justice. You
are examples of dedication and excellence and inspire those who serve
with you. On behalf of all the lawyers in the State of Wisconsin,
we gratefully thank you for your service and your dedication to our
profession and to the public.”
