National report makes recommendations to address 'critical issues' related to law school and the continuing education of lawyers
May 19, 2010 — Nearly 150 professionals from across the country recently gathered to discuss improving lawyer training and education for successful practice in today's world. To that end, working groups developed a final report with recommendations.

May 19, 2010 — Can a lawyer who serves as a mediator for a divorcing pro se couple, after successful mediation, draft documents for the parties? To answer this question, according to State Bar ethics counsel Tim Pierce, first determine whether the preparation of such documents is part of the mediation process or constitutes legal work beyond the scope of the mediation.
