Welcome friends, colleagues and all other interested persons!

The Construction and Public Contract Law Section has established this blog to provide its members with valuable information concerning issues that are important to attorneys engaged in construction or public contracting law.

While our members usually pick sides on an issue, the blog submissions are intended to be neutral.  We expect them to be of high quality and relevant to you.  We also intend to keep them “short” – a famously ambiguous concept for most attorneys.  However, in our case, submissions should be 500 to 1500 words.

While members of the Construction and Public Contract Law Board will aid in supplying content for the Blog, we welcome submissions from other section members.  More information concerning standards that apply to our content submissions can be obtained from the Blog Team referenced below.

We expect to post submissions on important topics such as changes in the statutes, important appellate and Supreme Court decisions, insurance law, practice tips and pointers, procedural issues, evidentiary issues, jury trials, and many others.  New content will be published at least monthly, so please visit our site for our new additions.

To launch this blog, look for two initial posts from Section Chair Steve Slawinski.
