Welcome colleagues and all other interested persons!

The Business Law Section is establishing a new blog to provide members with valuable information on issues important to business law attorneys.

The blog will have submissions on important topics for business lawyers, including significant changes in federal and Wisconsin statutes, important appellate and Supreme Court decisions, general developments in the, practice tips and pointers, procedural issues, and more.

We will publish new content roughly on a monthly basis. Section members will be notified of new posts via email notification.

Blog submissions will be relevant, high quality, informative, and neutral – although they may, from time to time, argue for or against a position on a legal matter of relevance to business lawyers. They will be brief – between 500 to 1500 words.

While members of the Business Law Board will aid in supplying content for the blog, we welcome submissions from other members of our section. More information concerning standards and protocols for content submissions can be obtained from Andrew Parrish, Business Law Section secretary-treasurer and blog editor.

We look forward to the Business Law Section Blog being a valuable resource for our members.

    Thank you,

    • Randal J. Brotherhood, Business Law Section Chair
    • Matthew Rowe, Business Law Section Vice Chair
    • Andrew Parrish, Business Law Section Secretary-Treasurer, Blog Editor
