The members of the State Bar of Wisconsin Litigation Section recognize that we serve a diverse community as Wisconsin lawyers. We believe our section, and the legal community at large, is strongest when it reflects (and looks more like) the communities we serve and the people we represent.

The Litigation Section welcomes members of every gender, race, culture, age, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, geographic domicile, and physical ability.

Jacqueline Chada Nuckels Jacqueline C. Nuckels, Marquette 2004, is an attorney with Jacobs Injury Law, S.C. in Milwaukee, where she represents individuals who have been injured in auto accidents, premises accidents, or as result of nursing home abuse or neglect.

We seek to recruit members of all – especially historically underrepresented – backgrounds who can contribute to and benefit from our section’s service and success.

    About the Sponsored Memberships

To this end, our section has committed to offering one-year sponsored memberships to currently licensed Wisconsin attorneys who can help us achieve our goal of better representation and reflection of the communities we serve.

Attorneys may nominate themselves or another attorney for a sponsored membership by completing a Sponsored Membership Request Form. All request forms will be reviewed by the Litigation Section Board.

    About the Litigation Section

Perhaps you are wondering who we are in the Litigation Section. Our section is a community of attorneys with an interest or practice in civil litigation, insurance law, and tort law.

The section strives to develop and improve the practice of civil litigation by monitoring, commenting upon, and proposing legislation, and by offering CLE programs to benefit its members.

The Litigation Section also supports law students’ trial advocacy training.

Benefits of section membership include access to the section’s elist, where resources and issues are shared and discussed. The section also maintains a regular blog.

We look forward to receiving request forms and growing our section!
