    he Hyde Amendment to 18 U.S.C. section 3006A may permit some victims of investigatory or prosecutorial abuse to recover the costs they incure in fighting the government's investigation and prosecution under federal law. Most individuals and small- and medium-sized corporations may qualify for the remedy if they prevail in the criminal prosecution and can show the prosecution was "vexatious, frivolous, or in bad faith."
