Governmental Immunity for Professional Independent Contractors
A recent Wisconsin Court of Appeals decision extended governmental immunity to an independent contractor. Now, by merely implementing an otherwise immune governmental decision, the contractor will not have to risk liability solely because of its status as a private entity.
