Request for State Bar Sponsorship

By submitting your request for sponsorship of your pro bono project by the State Bar of Wisconsin Volunteer Lawyer Programs, you are agreeing to do the following:

1. ​Indicate on materials for attorneys and the public that the project is sponsored by the State Bar of Wisconsin.
2. Keep a written or electronic record of the clients each volunteer attorneys assists.
3. Inform volunteer attorneys that the professional liability insurance through the State Bar only covers pro bono legal services lawyers provide through the sponsored program (not other legal services they may provide).
4. Provide summary information to the State Bar pro bono program regarding the numbers of people your project helps and the numbers of volunteers who participate.
5. Notify the State Bar Pro Bono Program Manager if any attorney for whom coverage is sought has been the subject of a disciplinary complaint or refused admission to practice, disbarred, suspended, reprimanded, sanctioned, or held in contempt by any court, administrative agency or regulatory body in the preceding 12 months.​​​​​
