Public Education Banner

"legal" spelled with blocks.

The State Bar of Wisconsin's public education programs promote awareness of the law and our shared civic duties through interactive educational experiences.

Help strengthen our citizens and the state we live in through developing understanding, appreciation and interest in our courts and the legal system.

We are dedicated to educating members of the public, helping them understand their rights, and teaching them how to make a difference in their communities. The Public Education Department offers you educational resources you can use, including:

  • Fun, interactive and educational law-related and civics programs
  • Free educational tools and publications
  • Volunteer lawyers, judges, and members of the public who are trained to provide civic education

Please feel free to contact Public Education Coordinator Katie Wilcox with any comments or questions at (800) 444-9404, ext. 6191, or email her at PubEdCoordinator@wisbar.org. Thank you for your interest in civic education!
