Final Orders
Order 13-17: Creation of Supreme Court Rules Relating to a Judicial Code Review Committee
In December 2013, then-Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson petitioned the court to create rules relating to a committee to review the Wisconsin Code of Judicial Conduct, chapter 60 of the Supreme Court Rules, every 10 years. This rule petition is, effectively, a companion to rule petition 12-11. Following discussion at an open rules conference in November 2015, the justices voted 5-2 to dismiss the petition as improper subject matter for a rules petition.
Order Issued: December 21, 2015
