The Family Law Section is offering 12 scholarships to its Annual Family Law Workshop in Door County, on Aug. 3-5, 2017, at the Stone Harbor Resort and Conference Center in Sturgeon Bay.
March 15, 2017 – The annual Family Law Workshop gives insight into the ever-changing world of family law. The workshop brings together seasoned veterans, new lawyers, family court commissioners, and judges.
The Family Law Section is offering 12 scholarships for the cost of tuition to the workshop, Aug. 3-5, 2017, at Stone Harbor Resort in Door County.
CLE sessions are divided into tracks 101 and 201 to provide basic level insights, procedural tips, and important legal updates for professionals who are new to the field or who need a refresher or new perspectives on niche areas of family law.
To be considered for one of the scholarships, complete the application, and return it by April 1 to Nicole Williams Buttery at nwilliamsbuttery@wisbar.org.
Scholarship recipients will be notified the first week of May. Preference is given to public interest attorneys, those new to the practice of family law, and law students.
