On Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at 9 a.m., a public hearing will be held before Referee Jonathan V. Goodman at the offices of Brown and Jones, Mezzanine Level, 757 N. Water Street, Milwaukee, on the petition of Brian P. Mularksi, Mequon, to reinstate his license to practice law in Wisconsin. Any interested person may appear at the hearing and be heard in support of or in opposition to the petition for reinstatement.

On Sept. 10, 2010, the Wisconsin Supreme Court revoked Mularski’s law license for misconduct that included failure to comply with contingent fee agreement rules and settlements; trust account violations; making misrepresentations to an insurer, Mularski’s law firm, and the OLR; and lack of diligence and communication with his client. To be reinstated, Mularski has the burden of substantiating by clear, satisfactory, and convincing evidence that 1) he has the moral character to practice law in Wisconsin, 2) his resumption of the practice of law will not be detrimental to the administration of justice or subversive of the public interest, 3) all of his representations in his reinstatement petition are substantiated, and 4) he has complied fully with the terms of the orders of suspension and with SCR 22.26.
