March 3, 2021 – Every lawyer has something to offer – and we need you. The State Bar of Wisconsin relies on attorney volunteers to serve on its committees.

We are a diverse State Bar. We need all perspectives: new lawyers and experienced lawyers, specialists and generalists, from big cities and rural communities, from within the state and nonresidents, big firm, government, solo, and everything in between.

The committees, with members who bring their diverse practices, perspectives, and personalities to the table, are very important to how the State Bar functions and how it assists its members as they navigate the current and future challenges in the profession.

Committee service not only benefits Wisconsin lawyers, but also provides you with the opportunity to influence important issues facing the profession, the legal system, and our State Bar membership in general.

It is also a great way to meet lawyers from around – and even outside – the state who want to make a difference by serving the profession through State Bar activities.

Take a moment to consider this, the best type of challenge in a challenging year – one where you will make connections, put forward your best ideas, and help to accomplish work that will benefit all of the Wisconsin legal community and the justice system.

Apply to serve on a State Bar committee for 2021-22 by submitting a Committee Volunteer Interest Form by April 15. We look forward to hearing from you.
