Hearing Order 21-05: Remote Administration of Oaths at Depositions
On Oct. 8, 2021, The Wisconsin Association for Justice filed a rule petition seeding to amend the Wis. Stat. section 804.03 to allow remote administration of oaths at depositions, consistent with a series of temporary orders that permitted this practice during the COVID-19 pandemic.
ORDER ISSUED: March 2, 2022
DISPOSITION: Public hearing scheduled for Monday, April 11, 2022, beginning at 9:30 a.m., in the Supreme Court Hearing Room in the State Capitol, Madison. The full text of the proposed rules, including changes, if any, in existing rules, are available at www.wicourts.gov/scrules/pending.htm.
