Family Law Workshop in Door County
The
2022 Family Law Workshop, produced by the State Bar of Wisconsin Family Law Section, is three half-days of CLE programming along with many opportunities for socializing and relaxation on the shores of Sturgeon Bay at Stone Harbor Resort in Door County, Aug. 4-6, 2022.
Day 1 features internationally recognized mediator and former practicing clinical psychologist
Dr. Gregory Firestone speaking on negotiation and collaboration skills.
Days 2 and 3 offer two CLE tracks: one for those new to the family law field, and a second track for the experienced practitioner.
Learn about current relevant issues in family law, including:
working with children with mental health and transgender issues;
family court commissioner’s advice on addressing cases with domestic violence;
dealing with cryptocurrency in a divorce case;
case law information and updates, and more.
Bring your family along for networking and appetizers at the poolside patio reception on Thursday evening. On Friday, you can attend an optional fish boil – a Door County tradition at a local waterfront restaurant.
