April 2, 2025 – Since last November, the State Bar of Wisconsin has experienced an increase in the number of messages failing to deliver to member email inboxes, in large part because of newer spam filtering tools.
The State Bar delivers communications that members choose to receive. If a member no longer wishes to receive messages as an elist member, please unsubscribe.
If messages are filtering to spam, you may not receive publications such as InsideTrack Weekly or CaseLaw Express, section blogs, or section elist messages.
Marking the messages as spam will increase the risk others subscribed to the list will also have elist messages flagged as spam. If your organization is unable to make changes to allow messages to be delivered, members can choose to use a different email address.
To unsubscribe from a State Bar elist, go to myMemberships, and scroll down to "ELIST" where you will see a list of your currently subscribed elists. Click the circle next to “UnSub” for the list you wish to leave, then scroll down and click the "SUBMIT" button. Other choices are "Mail" to receive individual emails from the elist, "No Mail" to not receive any emails, and "Digest" for a daily digest of emails on that elist.
If a member wishes to not receive marketing messages, they can call customer service and ask to be removed from emails.
