State Bar debuts its first conference app at Oct. 27-29 Wisconsin Solo Small Firm Conference

Oct. 19, 2011 – This year’s Wisconsin Solo Small Firm Conference (WSSFC) experience will offer attendees a conference app for mobile devices. The app will provide the ability to build your own schedule, add your name to a list of conferees, tweet, access the conference schedule and check out vendor information. A link to materials for downloading is also anticipated.

“We are delighted to offer the first WSSFC Conference App at this year’s event,” says State Bar Law Office Management Advisor Nerino Petro. “We are trying to take advantage of the increasing use of mobile devices to make attending the conference a more satisfying technological experience for attendees.”

To download the app, search for 2011 WSSFC or Wisconsin Solo and Small Firm in your phone’s app market. The app will be available for iPhone, Android, and Blackberry devices and will be accessible via web browsers on other devices. The app will be live shortly before the conference and will be announced on the State Bar’s Facebook page.

The 2011 WSSFC is scheduled from Oct. 27 to 29, in Wisconsin Dells, at the Kalahari Resort.
