Oct. 5, 2011 – During the week of Oct. 10, the State Bar will offer the Microsoft Silverlight interface as an additional option to Windows Media Player for viewing webcast and OnDemand State Bar of Wisconsin PINNACLE™ seminars. Silverlight eliminates the technical problems users may experience while watching a webcast or on-demand seminar and is particularly compatible with Macintosh computers. Minor enhancements make accessing PDFs of course materials easier, and new pop-up screens make viewing slides easier while watching the video.

Silverlight runs in many browsers, including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Opera. The Silverlight plug-in installs very quickly. Members are encouraged to download and test Silverlight now, as it may require permissions from their information technology departments.
