Sept. 21, 2011 – Gov. Walker appointed six circuit court judges and a district attorney on Sept. 16. The judicial appointments will stand until a judge has been sworn in following the April 2012 spring elections. The district attorney appointment will stand until December 2012 following a November election. All appointees have the opportunity to run for their seats.
Gary Bendix, Manitowoc County Circuit Court. Bendix practices at Bendix Law Office, in Manitowoc.
Nicholas J. Brazeau Jr., Wood County Circuit Court. Brazeau is a partner at the general practice firm Brazeau, Wefel, Kryshak, & Nettesheim, LLP.
Jeffrey Froehlich, Circuit Court in Calumet County. Froehlich is with the Calumet County District Attorney’s Office.
Gregory Gill Jr., Outagamie County Circuit Court Branch 4. Gill is a partner at Gill & Gill S.C., in Appleton.
William F. Kussel Jr., Menominee-Shawano Circuit Court. Kussel is the Director of Legal Services for the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin.
William Andrew Sharp Richland County Circuit Court. Sharp is with the Richland County District Attorney’s Office.
Bruce R. Poquette, Sawyer County District Attorney. Poquette is an assistant district attorney in the Sawyer County District Attorney’s Office.
