Worker's Compensation Symposium
The live 10th Annual
Advanced Worker's Compensation Symposium, on Feb. 4 in Waukesha,
from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., features doctors and lawyers examining
medical issues seen in worker's compensation cases. Tackling four
topics, each presentation will focus on a class of injury and highlight
effective techniques for addressing these injuries. You will learn how
to use a doctor's medical expertise to prepare for questions on
work-relatedness, causation, and how to rate permanent partial
disability in Wisconsin.
Topics include:
- complex regional pain syndrome;
- new surgical techniques for spinal fusion;
- permanent disability and permanent physical restrictions; and
- new methods for assessing hearing loss permanent partial
disability.
The video seminar also is scheduled for March 1 at statewide
locations. Tuition is $169. The half-day program has been submitted for
up to 4.5 CLE credits, does not qualify for EPR credits, and will
submitted for Minnesota CLE credits.
