State Bar seeks nomination for Senior Lawyer Award
Nominations due March 1
The Senior Lawyers Division (SLD) seeks candidates for the annual
Leonard L. Loeb Senior Lawyers Division Award, which recognizes senior
lawyers (60 years of age or older) who have improved the legal system
and shown leadership in advancing the quality of justice for all.
The award, named after former State Bar President Leonard Loeb (who
was, when he died, the first SLD president):
- recognizes a lawyer who has made real contributions to the legal
community during his or her years as a lawyer;
- has respect for the legal system and has demonstrated a love for
the law and what it seeks to accomplish;
- has high ideals and personal character; and
- through his or her legal expertise, has been involved in community
organizations to make the community a better place.
State Bar members should send letters of nomination, by March 1, to:

at the Members Recognition Luncheon during the 2005 Annual Convention in
