Seminars feature the
new Bankruptcy Code, estate planning strategies,
and trial practice institute
Attend the 2005 Annual Bankruptcy Update seminar to
learn how the new bankruptcy law, effective Oct. 17, will affect your
Wisconsin practice. The Hon. Keith Lundin and Henry Hildebrand III,
Chapter 13 Trustee, will bring their nationally acclaimed presentation,
"Consumer Bankruptcy after the Bankruptcy Abuse and Consumer Protection
Act of 2005," to the full-day seminar.
The live seminar for Eastern District locations is scheduled for Oct.
20 in Milwaukee and the video seminar* is scheduled for Nov. 30. The
live seminar for Western District locations is scheduled for Oct. 21 in
Madison, and the video seminar is scheduled for Dec. 1 at statewide
locations.
The seminar runs from 8 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. Tuition is $199. The
seminar has been submitted for up to 7.5 CLE credits, does not qualify
for EPR credits, and will be submitted for Minnesota CLE credits.

26th Annual Estate Planning Update seminar on Nov. 9, 8
a.m. - 4:45 p.m., in Waukesha. Attendees will explore techniques beyond
wills and trusts, including using and drafting ethical wills to share
one's values and blessings with one's family, friends, and community;
setting up special needs trusts for the benefit of disabled individuals;
and protecting assets through family limited partnerships.
The program also includes timely discussions on Wisconsin's new
Principal and Income Act, asset tracing after a divorce, and an
informative case law update.
The video seminar* is scheduled for Dec. 13 at statewide locations.
