convention
The State Bar once again will present The Ultimate "How-to"
Seminar for New (and not so new) Lawyers seminar on May 4 in
Milwaukee. Sponsored by the Senior and Young Lawyer divisions, the
seminar is being held in conjunction with the 2005 Annual
Convention.
The information-packed seminar provides the needed tools and skills
to begin and grow a practice. It offers invaluable expertise from, and
interaction with, more than 25 Wisconsin judges and practitioners.
The seminar includes breakout sessions on topics such as persuasion,
negotiation, and time management, and plenary sessions on communicating
with the bench and avoiding the pitfalls that can lead to malpractice.
Extensive materials and forms are provided in both written and CD
formats.
Tuition is $79 for this, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., seminar, which includes
breakfast, lunch, and an invitation to the Bench and Bar reception at
the Hilton Hotel, 5 - 6:30 p.m. Or, attend this seminar and the full
