Jan. 20, 2010 – State Bar CLE Books has just released the 2010 edition of the popular Wisconsin Public Records and Open Meetings Handbook. Author Melanie Swank has added so much information to this edition that we had to move it into a binder.

Swank is well-qualified to write on this topic. A 1994 graduate of Marquette Law School, Swank works in the Milwaukee City Attorney’s Office where she handles all city and school public records and open meetings issues. She is president-elect of the State Bar’s Government Lawyers Division (GLD), is a member of the GLD’s Continuing Legal Education Committee, and serves on the State of Wisconsin Public Records Board. She is also a regular speaker at State Bar CLE seminars on the topic of public records and open meetings.
