Dec. 7, 2011 – Governor Scott Walker is seeking applicants for appointment as the district attorney for Eau Claire County. The new appointee will replace outgoing District Attorney Richard White, who will be leaving office on December 31, 2011.
To apply for the position, applicants should submit the following: 1) a completed application; 2) a short resume; 3) a cover letter; and 4) a list of three to four references with contact information. The application is available on Governor Walker’s website: www.walker.wi.gov (select the DA Applicants tab under “Serve” at the top of the page).
Applicants should outline in their cover letters what professional and academic experiences qualify them to be district attorney. Applicants should also describe their civic activities and community involvement.
Application materials should be submitted to GovDistrictAttorney@wisconsin.gov.
