Sept. 29, 2015 – Governor Scott Walker is seeking applicants for appointment to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The appointee will fill the vacancy created when Supreme Court Justice N. Patrick Crooks passed away on Sept. 21, 2015.
The appointee, should he or she choose to run, would be up for election in April 2016.
To apply, applicants should submit a Judicial Application, found on Gov. Walker’s website at www.walker.wi.gov (select the “judicial application” button, after clicking “apply to serve” at the right-hand side of the page), together with:
· a cover letter;
· a resume (not exceeding two pages);
· two writing samples; and
· a list of three to four references.

Completed application materials must be received no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015.
