Welcome and thank you for visiting the State Bar of Wisconsin Government Lawyers Division Blog, which we hope will provide members with valuable information on issues important to government lawyers.
Blog submissions will consist of a variety of topics, including practice issues specific to government lawyers, as well as practice tips and pointers, CLE summaries and surveys, wellness issues, and so much more.
We will publish new content roughly on a quarterly basis.
About the Blog Articles and Where to Find Them
Blog submissions will be relevant, high quality, informative, and neutral – although they may, from time to time, argue for or against a position on a legal matter of relevance to government lawyers. They will be brief – between 500 to 1,500 words.
Division members will be notified of new articles via email, which will link to the newest article. You can read the articles at any time on WisBar.org on the
Blogs & Podcast page. To navigate to this page, visit WisBar.org and choose “Blogs & Podcast” in the drop-down menu under “News & Publications.” There, you can use the “Filter Blogs” list to display only the Government Lawyers Division Blog articles. You can also use this link to the GLD blog webpage to find the blog articles.
Writers Needed
While members of the Government Lawyers Division Board will aid in supplying content for the blog, we welcome and encourage submissions from other members of our division. More information concerning standards and protocols for content submissions can be obtained from
Katie Castle-Wisman, State Bar division liaison.
We look forward to the Government Lawyers Division Blog being a valuable resource for our members.
Thank you,
Joanne Bungert, GLD president
