March 29, 2011 – The State Bar of Wisconsin will maintain a video
recording of the March 28 debate between Wisconsin Supreme Court
candidates David
Prosser and JoAnne
Kloppenburg.
Those interested can view the recorded debate on the State Bar’s
YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/statebarofwi. WisconsinEye
will also rebroadcast the event on cable systems in various
communities.
The candidates participated in a traditional debate format with opening
statements, timed answers, rebuttals, and closing statements. Veteran
Wisconsin journalist Steven Walters, host of Legally Speaking on
WisconsinEye, moderated the debate.
Cosponsors of the event included the State Bar’s Young Lawyers
Division, Appellate Practice Section, Government Lawyers Division, and
Professionalism Committee, along with WisPolitics, the Wisconsin Radio
Network, the Wisconsin Law Journal, and the Wisconsin Newspaper
Association.
