March 8, 2011 – The State Bar of Wisconsin will cosponsor a debate between Wisconsin Supreme Court candidates – the Hon. David Prosser and Assistant Attorney General JoAnne Kloppenburg – on Monday, March 28, at 7 p.m. at the State Bar Center in Madison.
The candidates will participate in a traditional debate format with opening statements, timed answers, rebuttals, and closing statements. Veteran Wisconsin journalist Steven Walters, host of Legally Speaking on WisconsinEye, will moderate the free event.

The State Bar will broadcast the event live at http://www.wisbar.org/events/scdebate. WisconsinEye will rebroadcast the event on cable systems in various communities statewide and the State Bar will maintain an archived broadcast on its YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/statebarofwi.
