Wisconsin Criminal Justice Study Commission releases report

The Wisconsin Criminal Justice Study Commission has released its first report related to the DNA testing backlog at the State Crime Laboratory.

The commission chaired by retired Milwaukee County Judge Michael Malmstadt and co-sponsored by the U.W. Law School, Marquette Law School, and the State Bar of Wisconsin held a press conference to discuss its report on Thursday, Feb. 15 in the Assembly Parlor at the State Capitol.
