Wisconsin Supreme Court reschedules hearings after threat forces evacuation
Oct. 20, 2010 – Due to a bomb threat that forced an evacuation of the Capitol building yesterday (Oct. 19), the Wisconsin Supreme Court has rescheduled public hearing and administrative conference on petitions 10-03 and 10-04 to Nov. 9, 2010, at 9:30 a.m.

Oct. 20, 2010 – Due to a bomb threat that forced an evacuation of
the Capitol building yesterday (Oct. 19), the Wisconsin Supreme Court
has rescheduled public hearing and administrative conference on
petitions 10-03 and 10-04 to be held Nov. 9, 2010, at 9:30 a.m.
Petition 10-03
calls for amendment to Supreme Court Rule 81.02 to increase compensation
of court-appointed attorneys, a petition the State Bar of Wisconsin
supports.
Petition 10-04
is a petition to amend Supreme Court Rules 21.16, 22.19, and 22.29 to
establish standards and procedures for permanent revocation of lawyer
licenses in cases where the seriousness of the lawyer’s misconduct
and significance of the public interest require. The State Bar opposes
this petition.
