State Bar sponsors reception for civil rights attorney Fred Gray and acclaimed journalist Tony Brown
State Bar members are invited to attend a reception in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 16. Members can meet civil rights attorney Fred Gray, who represented Rosa Parks and Dr. King during the Civil Rights Era, and nationally acclaimed journalist Tony Brown, who coordinated the historic Walk To Freedom, at the State Bar-sponsored reception in Madison.

State Bar members are invited to attend a reception in honor of
Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 16. Members can meet civil rights
attorney Fred Gray, who represented Rosa Parks and Dr. King during the
Civil Rights Era, and nationally acclaimed journalist Tony Brown, who
coordinated the historic Walk To Freedom. The reception, free for State
Bar members, 9:30 - 11 a.m., will be held at the Madison Concourse
Hotel. Members who would like to attend the reception are asked

Following the reception at 12 p.m. in the State Capitol Rotunda,
Brown is the keynote speaker at the 26th Annual State of Wisconsin
Tribute & Ceremony honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Gray will receive
a National Lifetime Achievement Award. Gov. Jim Doyle will present the
State Proclamation. The ceremony is open to the public and will be
broadcast "live" on WI Public Radio and at 7 p.m. on WI Public
Television.
The 26th Annual State of Wisconsin Tribute & Ceremony honoring Dr.
