Forum addresses campaign finance and judicial independence

All attorneys are invited to attend the Judicial Independence Forum
on Oct. 3, from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., at U. W. Law School in Madison. A
panel will discuss campaign finance and its effect on judicial
independence. Panelists include: Justice Ann Walsh Bradley, Wisconsin
Supreme Court; Retired Professor Charles Clausen, Marquette Law
School/Fairchild Commission; Mr. John Kraus, former campaign manager;
and Attorney Ray Taffora, Michael Best & Friedrich LLP.
This free event is cosponsored by the League of Women Voters of
Wisconsin, the State Bar of Wisconsin, and the U. W. Law School. The
State Bar's partnership of this forum grew out of its partnership with
the League on the Public Trust & Confidence Initiative.
