Rhinelander's Mock Trial team poses with Rep. Rob Swearingen
The Rhinelander High School Mock Trial team has officially been congratulated for its “highly successful year as Mock Trial State Champions” by members of the state Legislature, Governor Walker and Congressman Sean Duffy.
A “Citation by the Assembly” was issued to the team on March 25 by State Rep. Rob Swearingen, Sen. Tom Tiffany and Walker, in preparation for the students’ upcoming trip to the national tournament and to applaud the team’s 27th consecutive victory in the Regional Mock Trial Championship. The citation also recognizes the group for its 16th win at the state level.

Rhinelander’s team members include: Matt Anderson, Lydia O’Brien, Lauren Sexton, Elisha Sheffer, Amber Sheth, Melissa Sheth and Amber Toboyek. Kathy Vick-Martini is the teacher coach and Attorney Jim Jacobi and Oneida County Circuit Court Judge Michael Bloom serve as attorney coaches.
