Shannon K. Cummings, Hamline 1998, has become a partner, practicing in bankruptcy, creditor’s rights, foreclosure, and client relations, at Blommer Peterman S.C., Brookfield. Stephen A. Smith, Oklahoma City 2012, has joined the firm as an associate. He leads the eviction team and handles foreclosure matters.
William Bock, U.W. 1972, has been selected general counsel for the Arizona League of Cities and Towns. Previously he was the Phoenix, Ariz., chief assistant city attorney and was corporation counsel for Racine and Walworth Counties.

Bud Bobber, Northwestern 1987, has been appointed vice chair of Foley & Lardner LLP’s labor and employment practice. He is with the firm’s Milwaukee office. Naikang Tsao, NYU 1992, has been appointed chair of the litigation practice in the firm’s Madison office.
Larry R. Jakubowski, Marquette 1984, has been selected director for the Civil Rights Bureau of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development’s Equal Rights Division.

The Hon. Lisa K. Stark, U.W. 1982, has been appointed to the Wisconsin Court of Appeals. She previously was an Eau Claire County Circuit Court judge.
