Andrew Adams III, U.W. 2006, has joined Jacobson Buffalo Magnuson Anderson & Hogan P.C., St. Paul, as an associate and focuses on federal Indian and gaming law. He previously was general counsel for the St. Croix Chippewa Indians in Hertel.

Pedro Colón, U.W. 1994, has been appointed to the Milwaukee County Circuit Court by Gov. Jim Doyle. He previously was in private practice and also represented the 8th Assembly District in the Wisconsin Legislature.

Joel Graham, Washington 2007, has joined the Madison office of Merchant & Gould PC as an associate and concentrates in intellectual property law. He previously was senior court counsel for the Republic of Palau Supreme Court.
Robert Hawley, Villanova 1974, has been appointed to the Winnebago County Circuit Court by Gov. Jim Doyle. He served on the bench from 1982 to 2006 and also has been a Winnebago County assistant corporation counsel, assistant district attorney, and district attorney.
Wendy Helgemo, Colorado 1995, has joined the staff of Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) as counsel for Indian affairs. She previously was with the National American Indian Housing Council.
Nicole C. Maher, Marquette 2006, has joined the Pewaukee headquarters of Waterstone Mortgage Corp. as corporate counsel.

Mark T. Ehrmann, U.W. 1985, has been elected chair of Forward Wisconsin, a nonprofit corporation created to foster economic development in the state. He is with the corporate services group in the Madison office of Quarles & Brady LLP.
Cristina D. Hernandez, Harvard 1995, has been chosen for the inaugural class of a pilot project entitled Value-Based Skills: Equipping the Next Generation of Latina Corporate Practice Leaders, sponsored by the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
