Overview/Purpose of Position:
Clark County Corporation Counsel is seeking to hire an Assistant Corporation Counsel.
Assistant Corporation Counsel provides legal representation and counsel for civil matters
involving Clark County pursuant to Wis. Stat. 59.42 as assigned by Corporation Counsel.
Requirements:
Assistant Corporation Counsel shall: 1) be a qualified attorney licensed to practice law in
Wisconsin before any court having trial or appellate jurisdiction over Clark County; 2) have a
minimum of one year of local government legal experience; and 3) work cooperatively,
accurately, and efficiently with the Clark County Board and it subunits, elected officials,
department heads, and employees.
Benefits:
Pay range for this position is $41.94 - $53.14, based on experience and qualifications, plus
a competitive benefit package.
