Stafford Rosenbaum LLP is seeking an associate attorney to join its team. This position will primarily involve working with our highly regarded government law practice team in the firm’s Madison office, along with work in its other diverse practice teams as desired by the applicant. The ideal candidate has interest in practicing municipal law, along with interest in practicing in other areas such as real estate, business transactional, election, utilities and energy, and/or environmental law. Strong analytical abilities and excellent writing and oral communication skills are essential. The position will periodically require attending meetings in the evening. While legal practice experience is preferred, it is not a requirement for this position as the firm’s leadership will help foster growth and development in the practice of the right candidate.
The attorney will work closely with our municipal clients and will advise them on a variety of complex issues, draft technical documents, guide clients on implementing policy goals, draft ordinances, and prosecute violations of municipal ordinances.
