    Litigation attorney for Department of Revenue

    The Department of Revenue Office of General Counsel offers these opportunities. Our attorneys are headquartered in Madison, but are eligible to work remotely up to three days per week as part of a hybrid schedule, following an initial training period.     Attorneys represent the Department of Revenue in property tax, sales tax, and other tax cases before the Tax Appeals Commission and occasionally before other administrative agencies and the courts, as well as before hearing examiners in in Ch. 227 suspensions or revocation proceedings; provide legal advice and opinions on a variety of legal questions; and review proposed legislation and rules. Salary is $74,880 to $120,640 annually ($36.00 to $58.00 hourly), depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits.
