Anoka-Hennepin Public Schools, the largest school district in the State of Minnesota, is seeking an Associate General Counsel to serve in its General Counsel's Office. Applicants should have a minimum of three to five years of experience representing/working for public schools or other state or local government entities. The Associate General Counsel reports to the District General Counsel and provides direct support to building and district administration on a variety of legal issues including: employment/labor law, student discipline, data practices, contracts, discrimination claims (various federal laws and the Minnesota Human Rights Act); parental custody rights, First Amendment law.
