Our team of lawyers at the AV rated Gingras, Thomsen & Wachs, LLP (GTW) is dedicated to helping people who need it and fighting to make them whole. Whether it's a personal injury, civil rights, medical malpractice, or employment discrimination, we combat dishonesty and fight for justice. We work tirelessly to right the wrong. We have three primary offices serving clients from all over Wisconsin (and more than a few in other jurisdictions). We want to hire an experienced (3 years plus), motivated, smart attorney interested in Personal Injury work who loves representing plaintiffs, has an eye for the details, will never surrender, and wants to become a great trial lawyer. This position is full-time. Ideally, the candidate would be expected to live in the Eau Claire area but will handle cases statewide. Being licensed in Minnesota is a big plus.
Description
The attorney will assume and be able to manage a full caseload of various personal injury clients and must have experience in handling all aspects of the pretrial and trial process. The successful candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills and be confident in their ability to represent clients before juries and judges. GTW lawyers care deeply for their clients, are team players, aggressive, yet professional, with a can-do attitude, have excellent negotiation skills and are committed to all our clients' needs and kind to our staff.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin
- Minimum of three years of experience in personal injury claims (defense or plaintiff)
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, and experience with practice management systems and AI
- Ability to understand and analyze data
- Strong legal writing and research skills
