What You will Do:
- Represent clients in probate, estate administration, guardianships, and elder law matters
- Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
- Advise clients on Medicaid planning, long-term care, and asset protection strategies
- Represent clients and families of clients who have diminished capacity, and advise regarding rights and solutions
- Advocate for clients in court hearings when necessary
- Collaborate with our legal team to develop tailored solutions for complex estate issues
- Stay informed on state and federal laws impacting probate and elder law
Qualifications:
- A licensed attorney in Wisconsin
- 1-5 years of experience in probate, estate planning, elder law, or related fields (preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate)
- Strong legal research, drafting, and communication skills
- A client-focused professional with a compassionate and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and work both independently and within a team
